Sessionmanagement without cookies!?

by hasch » Thu Aug 21, 2008 8:10 pm

Does somebody know how to manage sessions without cookies? Because symfony seems to use only cookie-sessions, If I disable cookies in browser no login is possible. Get-Sessions as a parameter with the session-id is not possible???

I found the way to manage session if cookies are disabled on client side. But i looking for a way to disable symfony to store session value in cookies. If the flag session.use_trans_sid = 1 the session is add to url ,but the cookies still save in browser ! Is there way to stop saving cookies in browser ?

Was a way to disable cookies ever found?

client came up with a new requirement at the last minute that was "no cookies" even if the're not being used
