External authentication with sfDoctrineGuardPlugin

by bouchon » Mon Jul 18, 2011 5:31 pm

Hi everyone,

I'm working on a business web application which must use an external authentication system (mandatory for every web app in our system). This authentication consists in an external web page to which the user is redirected if he is not authenticated in my application.
This page, when the authentication is done, redirect the user to the previous URL and give a encrypted token as a request variable (http://localhost?opentoken=...).

I would like to know how to integrate that authentication system within symfony and sfDoctrineGuardPlugin (not sure if I need it).

Tanks in advance
