SOLVED: sfGuardForgotPassword: no link to "Forgot password"

by derniwi » Tue Apr 10, 2012 3:43 pm

Hi,

I'm extending a web page (based on Symfony 1.4.16) and I have to enable the forgot password feature from sfDoctrineGuardPlugin. The secure login is enabled and working.
I tried to set up the forgot function like described here:
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2714 ... 82#9944082

I have downloaded the current readme file from the svn since the bundled file just for Symfony 1.3.

My problem is that the link to the "Forgot password" is not shown so I can't test this feature.

Any ideas?

Best regards
Nils

Hi,

I found the problem. The guy who developed the page modified some files in the sfGuardAuth directory.
After extending them not it works.

Code: Select all
<?php
  $routes = $sf_context->getRouting()->getRoutes();
  if (isset($routes['sf_guard_forgot_password'])): ?>
    <a href="<?php echo url_for('@sf_guard_forgot_password') ?>">Forgot your password?</a>
<?php endif; ?>

(I always hate it when you have to deal with indentation in situations like ln. 3/4, I think this looks OK :D )
