jQuery Tabs & admin_double_list

by Junni » Thu Jul 24, 2008 2:06 pm

hi,

i'm using jQuery Tabs and object_admin_double_list. but now everytime i try to associate something, it tries to submit the form. I have looked around for a "submit" function/call, but didn't find any

Any suggestions?

I thought I would bump this up since I am getting it as well. In my case, I've activated the sfUJSPlugin which uses jQuery. If I disable this plugin (and thus jquery), the problem goes away.

This is happening with sf1.0 and jquery 1.1.1.

The form submission appears to be triggered by any reference to src.options like on line 4 of sf_admin/js/double_list.js:
for (var i = 0; i < src.options.length; i++)

Any ideas?

Edit: This was caused by jquery conflicting with prototype, which was being included by the admin generator. I solved it by adding to my template:
javascript_tag('jQuery.noConflict();')

After doing this, jQuery must be accessed with jQuery(), I'm not sure how this affects other plugins that rely on it.
