what is the best js plugin for symfony 1.4?

by c.nicos » Fri Jan 22, 2010 4:12 am

Sorry, guys!

I'm a freshfish in the symfony world, maybe it's a stupid question, but, I need your help, please!

I started learning symfony since 1.2. At that time the sfProtoculous is the official js plugin, and it works great with symfony.

Now I started creating my own site using sf 1.4, but sfProtoculous is not recommanded any more. Which plugin should I use? Or should I just choose one js lib, and use it in the hard way?

Please help.

I use jQuery "the hard way", but really, it is quite easy :)~ :-)~

I don't think there is a best JS library - work out which one you prefer and go from there. For larger websites you'll have to break out of the helpers eventually, so you may as well have an underlying library you like using.
