"404 Not Found" I need help immediately

by filigor » Tue Jun 28, 2011 12:48 pm

Hi!
I am new in symfony and I have a question. So, I generated frontend, made the database in PhpMyAdmin, query to a page. Then automatically i got an "id" column and a "new" button in the last row. My problem is that when I click either of the id's or the new button, I got this:

Not Found

The requested URL /development/sfprojects/jobeet/web/auto/new was not found on this server.

If anybody know the solution for this, please write me here or to my mail: filigor94@gmail.com

My immediate thought is that your apache root is set up incorrectly. Set up a vhost so that you can view jobeet using http://myserver/ (or whatever your local development url is). The URL for the item below would therefore be /auto/new, rather than the one you've supplied.

If you can give some more detail about your environment, that would be helpful. Symfony 1.3 or 1.4? Win/Linux/Mac? Path to project root?
