No Metadata Classes to process

by rottmanj » Mon Aug 29, 2011 11:58 am

I am working through the Jobeet project using Symfony 2. So far everything has gone well.

One issue that I am seeing is on the Day 3 portion of the tutorial, it says to use php app/console doctrine:schema:create to create the database schema in my database. When I run this command, I get the following output: No Metadata Classes to process.

I copied and pasted the php classes exactly as they were in Day 3. Has anyone else run into this issue? Or is there a fix for this?

This is what I currently have in my config.yml doctrine configuration

Code: Select all
doctrine:
    dbal:
        driver:   %database_driver%
        host:     %database_host%
        port:     %database_port%
        dbname:   %database_name%
        user:     %database_user%
        password: %database_password%
        charset:  UTF8

    orm:
        auto_generate_proxy_classes: %kernel.debug%
        auto_mapping: true

I found the solucion.

PHP CLI != APACHE PHP

We need to determine what is the php.ini loaded by PHP CLI I wrote a post about that.

I expect that solve the problem to other new Symfony developers.

Regards.
