1 | Instalation (at least it's easier then django)
2 | Directory structure (the MVC should be more concise)
3 | The view components are a bit vague (too many variants: partials, includes, slots, components, etc each one with variations about the way parameters are used)

The goverment is promoting the use of open source software for all the "public" institutions. And off course I think open source rocks. In the other side I want to contribute to the OS proyects I'm planning to use, but I need to get on shape first

What kind of web application do you mainly develop with symfony?
I'm planing to dev aplications for a corporate Intranet that mainly atends administrative needs.
What would you like to see develop around symfony
What are your hopes for the future of symfony?
I really would like Symfony to get a litle more lite. And more portable. I did spend some time getting symfony installed and if you guys wouldn't came out with the sandbox, perharps I wouldn pass on it. In my work I'm behind a big fat firewall and I can't install the framework through PEAR nor get it from SVN (YET)
Ruby on Rails is really easy to install (and I know is not nice to compare) but that' a fact that make programers get into rails so easy. (Using instant rails off course)
p.d. sorry about my lame english
