Can Symfony write templating file to memcache?

by wxiaodan » Wed Oct 09, 2013 3:26 pm

Hi,

Am using a platform (Sina App Engine) which disabled file wirte on the local server, but they provide is memcache or external storage for temporary files and persistent files. So, when I install symfony into this platform will always get cache php file failed issue. What the platform recommend is to use PHP stream wrapper register, but when symfony calls PHP tempnam which creates the temp file path to a system temporary folder, such as /var/xxxxxx, then this is prevented from writing..

So, wondering if there is any workaround can do this or in future symfony can provide a choice of where to save the temporary/caches?

Thanks in advance.

Any solution or guide to solve this problem? I'm also in need of caching everything in memcache.
