Hi,

Can you please suggest me how to add a symfony component( session ) to an existing web application.
I just want to use symfony sessions in my existing web application.
I dont want to install full stack of symfony components.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Sessions is part of the HttpFoundation component, which is documented here: http://symfony.com/doc/current/componen ... index.html
Docs include install instructions and some examples. Start there ;)

cheers

Hi tiagojsag,

Thanks a lot. You have saved my time. I was struggling hard to find some proper articles on this one.

Now, with your help i installed symfony component in my existing system and able to call symfony objects in core php files.

I have a another issue...

Is it possible to have different sessions per window tabs.
I must use only cookie based sessions. not url based sessions.

How can we achieve this using symfony sessions.

Please help me.

Thank you,
kiran
