I got installed symfony on a local server for the first time. Everything is working fine. I run some test and when I type http://mylocaldomain/web/app_dev.php, I got the page but the url change to mylocaldomain/web/app_dev.php .

Does anybody can give me a clue to keep the address has it is please. I did some research but none was conclusive

Thanks in advance

Hi David,

Modern browsers will remove http:// from the address bar as it's not exactly needed now. You haven't really got a choice in the matter, but whether or not you include the http:// in front of your URL your site will still load.
