Can not get my Symfony2 project to work

by medrawi » Thu May 07, 2015 7:54 pm

Hi All,

I'm new to Symfony2 forums, and I'm also new to use Symfony.

We have a symfony2 project that we already have working on our local environment and on our production environment, but we can not get the same exact project to work on our new demo server.

We got it to work 3 times, and did not change the server configuration [which is identical to our production configuration], but everytime after we get it to work, we try to push the project code again, and we faily to get it to work.

The project code does not contain the composer.lock file and does not contain the vendor directory with its content.

We get them, by installing the composer.phar

After we install them, we try to clear the cache using the following commands:
Code: Select all
sudo rm -r app/cache/*
php app/console cache:clear --env=prod --no-debug

But we end up with the following error when we try to connect to the application:
Fatal error: Class 'Symfony\Component\HttpKernel\EventListener\SessionListener' not found in /var/www/vhosts/ on line 23

Any idea how can we get this to work?

Thanks very much in advance
