enhancement for sfWidgetFormDateTime

by Postal » Mon Dec 08, 2008 10:49 am

Hi,

I think the usability for date and time inputs could be improved, by an widget that has an rich calendar for date inputs and selectboxes for choosing the time (hour, minute).

I second that, but there should be no need for minutes and seconds select boxes as they could be added to the main box as mm:ss.

adding support for detect mm:ss and displaying it is more important.

One of my colleague at Sensio is working on a plug-in that provides unobstrusive javascript and dynamic form widgets with jQuery. This plugin that he makes on his free time will contain widgets like horizontal and vertical sliders, date pickers...

He should be release it soon on the symfony plugins repository after having writting unit test suites and after having refactored some of the code.

So, be patient ;)~ ;-)~
