Problem upgrading, I see source code???

Installation and environment issues, mainly on 1.x but there's some 2.x here too.

Problem upgrading, I see source code???

by _GeG_ » Sat Nov 19, 2005 10:37 am

Hi,

I just upgraded from symfony 0.5.38 to 0.5.146. Now I have this problem when I try to see any page (Below is the output of the page, I think this should be executed rather then displayed :D~ :-D~ :grin: ):
Code: Select all
// auth-generated by sfRootConfigHandler
// date: 11/19/2005 09:02:35

self::$handlers['autoload.yml'] = new sfAutoloadConfigHandler();
self::$handlers['php.yml'] = new sfPhpConfigHandler();
self::$handlers['databases.yml'] = new sfDatabaseConfigHandler();
self::$handlers['settings.yml'] = new sfDefineEnvironmentConfigHandler();
self::$handlers['settings.yml']->initialize(array (
  'prefix' => 'SF_',
));
self::$handlers['app.yml'] = new sfDefineEnvironmentConfigHandler();
self::$handlers['app.yml']->initialize(array (
  'prefix' => 'APP_',
));
self::$handlers['orm.yml'] = new sfPropelConfigHandler();
self::$handlers['factories.yml'] = new sfFactoryConfigHandler();
self::$handlers['bootstrap_compile.yml'] = new sfCompileConfigHandler();
self::$handlers['core_compile.yml'] = new sfCompileConfigHandler();
self::$handlers['filters.yml'] = new sfFilterConfigHandler();
self::$handlers['logging.yml'] = new sfDefineEnvironmentConfigHandler();
self::$handlers['logging.yml']->initialize(array (
  'prefix' => 'SF_LOGGING_',
));
self::$handlers['modules/*/config/generator.yml'] = new sfGeneratorConfigHandler();
self::$handlers['modules/*/config/view.yml'] = new sfViewConfigHandler();
self::$handlers['modules/*/config/security.yml'] = new sfSecurityConfigHandler();
self::$handlers['modules/*/config/cache.yml'] = new sfCacheConfigHandler();
self::$handlers['modules/*/validate/*.yml'] = new sfValidatorConfigHandler();
self::$handlers['modules/*/config/module.yml'] = new sfDefineEnvironmentConfigHandler();
self::$handlers['modules/*/config/module.yml']->initialize(array (
  'prefix' => 'MOD_',
));
self::$handlers['routing.yml'] = new sfRoutingConfigHandler();

Starting my debugger it seems that the const SF_CONFIG_CACHE_DIR is not pointing into a cache directory. I seem to remember to have seen this problem on the pake site some time ago. Any tipps?

Thanks

When you upgrade symfony, you must clear the cache:

Code: Select all
symfony cc

If you don't do that, old code and new code will be interlaced...

I'm working on a patch so symfony will detect when you upgrade and clear the cache automatically.
