relative_url_root

Installation and environment issues, mainly on 1.x but there's some 2.x here too.

relative_url_root

by smallbeer » Sun Dec 04, 2005 7:59 pm

I just uploaded the ajax cart demo onto my remote server to check it in a live environment.

The images are referenced relative to the root "/images/product0.png" etc so they're not being found where I've set up my test dir...

domain.com/testdir/

I had a read through the book and thought changing the relative_url_root variable to /testdir/web in settings.yml might have sorted it but it didn't.

Anyone?

I set up an alias as described here (http://www.symfony-project.com/content/book/page/web_server. html) btw.

What OS are you running?

What version of Symfony are you running?

Also, can you paste your Apache Configuration?

Thanks.

How about modify your .htaccess file?!?

You also need to edit the .htaccess file located in your myproject/web/ directory and change the last rewrite rule from

RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php [QSA,L]

to

RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /webapp/index.php [QSA,L]
