Do you have the mod_rewrite Apache module working correctly?

Did you reload/restart apache after you set up your vhost for askeet?

Do you have an entry in your hosts file to point http://askeet back to the local machine you are working on?

If you can specify the details of your setup (operating system, Apache version, etc) I might be able to shed some more light on the problem for you. :P

I'm having the same problem I guess.
Im using wamp and I installed symfony with PEAR.
(Before that I tried to use XAMPP but got the same problem).

After creating a new symfony-project it correctly shows me the welcome message on http://askeet (so including pictures and stylesheet). The frontend-dev.php part is working as well, including the dev-bar.

I enabled the mod_rewrite Apache module and I think i the httpd-vhosts.conf and hosts file are correct (otherwise I dont think the welcome message would work)

Now I'm stuck with the scaffolding part for a few days now. Symfony seems to create everything without errors.
When I open the askeet/question page it shows the headers of the class (id, user, title etc) and the hyperlink "create".

When I click the hyperlink I get the symfony error page (Oops! An Error Occurred etc).

When I try it through http://askeet/frontend_dev.php/question I get the same page with a dev-bar, but clicking create gives a [RuntimeException] and a stack-trace.

I have search the symfony forum but everyone seems to have a slightly different problem (or I suck at searching)

Does anyone have the askeet tutorial working on a windows machine (at least the day 2 part)? Help will be much appreciated!

Cheers, JJ
