mysqladmin is not recogcized as an internal or ext.....

i recently reinstalled symfony because of some problems i was having and now on day2 of the askeet calendar i get an error msg when i try database connection.

$ mysqladmin -u youruser -p create askeet


i get an error msg
Code: Select all
mysqladmin is not recogcized as an internal or external command.....

need help badly

Hi xqzmemiss,

this is not, I think, a symfony problem - it looks like you have not installed mysqladmin. Look in your program-repository (if you are running linux) and install this package... that should solve this problem!

Hi Paul,

I'm running on Windows.... i see an exe file in the bin directory. Even when i run the winmysqladmin i still get problems :(~ :-(~ :sad:

If you run mysql administrator?
You don't need to run commandline.. you are running windows, right :D~ :-D~ :grin:

Well.. do you know MySQL at all? This line basically means: create the db (by hand)... that is all it does. You can do this by hand in the mysql query browser..

just issue this command:

GRANT ALL ON database.* TO [url=mailto:'user'@'localhost']'user'@'localhost'[/url] IDENTIFIED BY 'password'
