I am having issues with the autocompleter widget. It used to work but not anymore and I REALLY need some help on this as I have been stuck for a few days.

Fatal error: Call to a member function __toString() on a non-object in \plugins\sfFormExtraPlugin\lib\widget\sfWidgetFormDoctrineJQueryAutocompleter.class.php on line 75
How can I debug where it fails? At the minute I just get a screen half rendered with a fatal error.
