ggEmailPlugin

Postby _GeG_ » Mon Aug 23, 2010 12:24 pm

This topic is the homepage and issue tracker of the ggEmailPlugin.

Please post all questions and problems here.

ggEmailPlugin provides functionality to use templates and layouts in the normal symfony way for emails. It provides configuration parameter for the template and layout directories. It also makes it easy to combine html and text parts as alternative mime parts in an email, just by adding _html and _text to the template name.

I would like to add some unit/functional test, but I have no idea what I could test. If you have any ideas please let me know.

Dear Georg,

I have just come across your plugin, which seems exactly like what I was looking for. Thank you very much for your efforts! However, upon installation, this is what I receive so far:
Code: Select all
./symfony plugin:install ggEmailPlugin -s=beta
>> plugin    installing plugin "ggEmailPlugin"

Warning: array_flip(): The argument should be an array in /var/www/sitename/lib/vendor/symfony/lib/plugin/sfPearRestPlugin.class.php on line 212

Warning: array_flip(): The argument should be an array in /var/www/sitename/lib/vendor/symfony/lib/plugin/sfPearRestPlugin.class.php on line 212

No release available for plugin "ggEmailPlugin" in state "=beta"

I am using Symfony 1.4, installed via SVN import into lib/vendor/symfony, if this is of any help. Any hints would be very much appreciated!

Best regards,

Okay, this one was easy... It worked like a charm using
Code: Select all
symfony plugin:install ggEmailPlugin -s alpha

@justme, thanks for pointing that out.
I have changed the plugin's status to beta now, as there were no issuse in the last three weeks, so the original docs should work now (that's one way to fix it, )

Thanks for the plugin. I have question:
Is it possible to use partials inside template? I have been unsuccessful at this.
