Help needed in adding new textarea in OrangeHRM

Hi..,

I am using Orangehrm-2.6.10. I want to add a new textarea field in PIM->personalDetailsForm. the following are the details:

I have added a textarea named Extra Curricular Activity in my personal details form
which saved successfully,but it could not display in the textarea.
when i change the textarea in to text which is displayed.

I had made change in the following files:
1. Symfony->plugins->orangehrmPimPlugin->modules->pim->template->viewPersonalDetailsSuccess.php
2. Symfony->plugins->orangehrmPimPlugin->lib->dao->EmployeeDao.php
3. Symfony->plugins->orangehrmPimPlugin->lib->form->EmployeePersonalDetailsForm.php
4. Symfony->lib->modal->doctrine->orangehrmPimPlugin->base->BaseEmployee.class.php

Can anyone please help me in how to add a new textarea field in PIM's Personnel Details module,
Please share me the anser

I'm not familiar with that system - what version of symfony is it based on?
