Right this Symfony 2 nonsense is driving me bananas!
I've had trouble trying to follow the page creation tutorial here:
I got it going but only when I went to the production page: app.php/hello/user
The dev page seemed to be screwed, loads of permission issues and seemed to be in some way related to the Demo bundle that comes installed with Symfony 2. I decided to reinstall Symfony2 and start again.
I can now get to this page:
Everything looks fine, permissions changed successfully and I get presented with the "Welcome" page with three links at the bottom:
Configure your Symfony Application online. If I click this linke I get presented with a blank page and this url in the address bar:
Bypass configuration and go to the Welcome page - I get a blank page again and the url is:
Re-check configuration. I click this and it doesn't do anything, the welcome page still displays and the following url is in the browser:
What do I need to do to reinstall this properly? My apache / mysql setup looks ok, I would've expected it to be a simple case of deleting the Symfony directory from the web root (in my case /var/www/ ).
Anyone got any ideas on this?
Thanks in advance.
