Symfony 1.4 on ec2

Has anyone deployed a symfony app on ec2? a got a problem with the symfony task -
./symfony project:deploy production -t

I looked at this blog but it seems kind of out of date cause it doesn't work...

Hi ngarneau,

I'm trying to deploy a symfony 1.4 app on ec2 and am having the same problem. Did you manage to find a solution? Did you modify the custom task that was build in your link? Right now, I'm just using SVN on my EC2 to pull down the latest revisions but it doesn't have the exclusion capabilities (to only pull production config) as deploy would.

Any insight would be great. Thanks.
