Bundle for POP3 & displaying E-Mails?

Postby TimonSchroeter » Mon Mar 05, 2012 5:36 pm

Hi,

I'm looking for a Symfony2 Bundle that allows to retrieve e-mails using POP3. Any help in handling e-mail locally (store in DB, display from controller etc.) would also be great.

I found the ZetaWebmailBundle and the documentation looks great. However, according to the Impact graph on github there is (and only ever has been) a single developer.

Does anybody know a different bundle for this purpose?

Cheers,

Timon

It shouldn't be much work to write this on your own? I don't think there's an ACMEReadAndDisplayPOP3MailsBundle out there...

Retrieving, managing and displaying E-Mails seems to be a very common thing to do. IMHO Symfony2 is (among other things) about not re-inventing the wheel all the time. ZetaWebmailBundle is a nice example of how this could be solved and I've got this feeling that there's probably another great solution out there ... ideally one that is actively developed by more than one person!?

Retrieving, managing and displaying

Ah... so you now wanna create new mails, too? That's a different thing. ;-)

Have you checked http://knpbundles.com/ ?

Yes, that's how I found the ZetaWebmailBundle (see above).
