*.tgz problem

*.tgz problem

I download the files like sf_sandbox , Project files in th site with extension tgz and I extract using winzip(I m using Xp) but only 1 file is extracted and it has no extension and dreamveawer don't open this file. I think I don't know how check out files that extension tgz.

tgz is a combination of two file formats - tar and gzip. Try renaming the original download to sf_sandbox.tar.gz and load into Winzip again - it should prompt you to extract the tar.

Or decompress the file with no extension and give it a .tar extension, then decompress that. Better yet, get a better decompression utility, such as 7-zip.
